LAUREN DORIAHNA

Lauren Doriahna has made thirteen live appearances on V-103 FM Atlanta's syndicated radio station "Poetic Moments" hosted by radio personality Joyce Littel. She has also graced stages across the United States. She has been the headliner at 50+ shows as a poet. She has been the emcee for numerous art shows, galas, private events, open mics, and fashion shows. She was the producer for a monthly poetry show segment called Ridin Durty Radio on WRFG FM.

 

Lauren created a nonprofit for Teens called Teens Igniting Change Association (TICA) in 2011. She was nominated for a prestigious Apex Pyramid Award, in 2016, by the Apex African- American Historical Museum in the category of youth leadership.

Hailing from Detroit and now rooted in Atlanta, Lauren's love affair with writing sparked at eight. Her journey led her to Tri-Cities, an esteemed performing arts high school, where she honed her writing and performing prowess within the magnet drama department.

 

With a Bachelor's in English from Emory University, Lauren's writing transcends boundaries, blending social commentary, humor, and love seamlessly in her poetry. A fixture on Atlanta's vibrant artist circuit, she mesmerizes audiences with her versatile style, equally skilled as a performance poet and a trained actor.
